I am a Registered member of NMHNZ (Naturopaths & Medical Herbalists of New Zealand).
I specialise in assessing people's individual health needs, taking into account their health history, diet, nutritional status, lifestyle, stress and emotional wellbeing. My aim is to prepare meaningful treatment plans for her clients, using nutrition and trusted natural therapies, to overcome health problems and stay well. I have worked with people tackling health issues such as Eczema, Food Intolerances, Candida overgrowth, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fatigue, Hormonal Imbalances, Menopausal Hot Flushes, Insomnia, Chronic Headaches, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Hypothyroidism, Depression & Anxiety & preparation for Pregnancy.
In the past, I gained a PhD in Environmental Science from Auckland University and worked in the field of Ecology, including research and consultancy. Living with nature has always been a core value of mine, and as a naturopath I rely upon the innate healing power within every person to help them reach their health goals. My scientific background assists in my clinical case taking abilities, enables me to research and understand client's health complaints, and keep abreast of research and new developments in natural health.
I operate from my home clinic on College street, and have lived in Palmerston North for over ten years. I'm also available on Zoom for remote consultations.
